PROJECT OVERVIEW

• Creating Content for Social Media: The volunteer will produce engaging content, including photos, videos, and graphics, to be shared on various social media platforms.
• Preparing Promotional Materials: Designing and creating promotional materials for different projects and events at the Vič Youth Center.
• Publishing Content on Websites: Managing and updating the center's website with fresh and relevant content, ensuring that information is accessible and appealing.
• Participation in Youth Projects: Involvement in various projects organized for young people, such as career workshops and IT workshops, providing support and contributing to their success.
• Promotion of the European Solidarity Corps: Promoting the opportunities offered by the European Solidarity Corps, encouraging young people to participate in international volunteering and solidarity activities.
• Collaboration with Local Organizations: Partnering with schools, associations, and other groups to promote community involvement, including activities like accompanying physically challenged individuals on mountain excursions.

LOGISTIC AND SUPPORT

• Accommodation: The volunteer will be housed in a shared apartment with other volunteer that will be part of Nefiks ESC project The apartment includes shared facilities such as a kitchen and bathroom, providing all essential living amenities.
• Food and Allowance: A monthly food allowance of approximately 200€ will be provided, along with pocket money in line with the European Solidarity Corps program guidelines.
• Travel Arrangements: Travel expenses up to 275€ (or 320€ for bus/train travel) will be covered by the program.
• Health Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance will be provided for the duration of the project.

SCHEDULE AND WORKING HOURS

The volunteer is expected to commit to a 35-hour workweek, typically from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend activities. This schedule allows ample time for both volunteering and personal exploration of the local culture and environment.

SELECTION PROCESS

Applications must be submitted through the European Solidarity Corps portal (only these applications will be considered) by August 25th. Selected candidates will go through a selection process (task and online interview) by September 7th. The final selection of candidates is expected to be completed by September 10th.
